Pink Ribbon...

Hello everyone!  Today I have my Pink Ribbon mani for you!  This is something that is very dear to me because I lost my Grandmother to breast cancer.  I miss her so much!  When I wore this mani I couldn't stop looking at it!  I think my Grandma would have loved it!

I love this Paula Dorf polish!  I had never heard of it before but saw Joyluscious posted about how wonderful these polishes were so I ran out to TJ Maxx and found a three pack set for $5.99!  Perfect Pout is beautiful!  Pink is one of my favorite colors so I was happy because the set had three pinks in it!  Woot woot!  They last forever as well!  I had this base on for four days before stamping and with no top coat and absolutely no wear!  I even cleaned toilets!  Wonderful polish!   I have added two more sets of three of Paula Dorf to my nail polish collection and cannot wait to try them all out!  I love how they last!

Oxblood..

Hello everyone!  I hope your day is going well!  I am enjoying my Fall Break vacation!  I love it!  Doing nothing and spending extra time with my boys!  Also I am enjoying playing with my nail polish!!  Woot woot!  So this prompt is for an oxblood mani.  I must admit I had no idea what that meant.  I had to Google it and found the appropriate color.  I saw a bunch of oxblood manis that have a gradient with black.  I loved the look so I ran with it.

I love how this turned out!  I think the silver stamping on the dark base looks so beautiful!  I was going to stamp with rose gold but changed my mind.  I think I am happier with this!  I do feel I could have let more of the oxblood polish show but I still like it!

Matte Monday: Half Moons...

Hello everyone!!  I hope you had a great weekend!  I am so happy because I am off of work for 2 weeks!!  Thank you Jesus!  Fall break is awesome!  I plan to spend a lot of time laying around with my little man!  He is very busy now so we may have to visit some parks or something.  I have signed us up for a craft day tomorrow.  I hope he enjoys it!  Well I actually hope he doesn't eat all the stuff if it isn't eatable.

I love this matte top coat.  I am not too fond of this mani but I love the chalkiness of this top coat!  I think my nubs are too nubby and my nail bed it too small for a half moon mani to look right on it.  I have a super hard time making them look like I want them to.  This OPI matte top coat is officially my favorite!  I love how chalky it looks.  I tried to do another matte mani last week for this and I used Kleancolor's matte top coat and that stuff never dries!  Thank goodness I only paid a dollar for it because it went in the trash.  It was old and almost gone anyway.  I have disliked it the entire time I have had it but it was the only one I had for quite sometime.

I love this base color!  I was seeing everyone using it on Instagram and I was thinking that is such a beautiful color.  I went crazy trying to find it at the salons and Ulta.  Sold out everywhere.  I was adding more polishes (yeah I should be stopped) to my nail polish wall and guess what I found??  OPI If You Moust You Moust.  I was so ashamed of myself because this is about the 10th time this has happened and I can't remember if I have the polish or not.  Crazy girl to keep buying polish to the point that I can't remember if I have it or not.

Hey everyone!  I hope your having a great day!  Today's prompt is dotticure.  Well I must admit when I got my new Bundle Monster plates and saw the interlocking dots image I knew that no dotting tool would be doing my dots but this image plate was.  I am so pleased with this set of stamps!

I picked up the Color Club Kaleidoscope collection from Ross for $7.99.  I was very surprised it was there so quickly.  It just came out this summer and summer is barely over.  I wasn't complaining I just scooped it up and ran with it.  I was so upset when I didn't see the names on the bottles.  Why does Color Club do that to us??  Thank goodness for bloggers who have found the names!  I added them to the bottom of the bottles with label stickers.

Chevron's...

Hello everyone!  Today's prompt is chevron's!  I haven't done a chevron mani in a long time.  I must say I am a bit confused by chevron's.  So many people consider them different things.  Some people think the zig zag lines are not chevrons.  I always thought they were.  Some people think only the one zig zag if that makes sense is a chevron.  I guess I am now with those people after doing a bit of research.  They are all pretty so it really does not matter to me what you call them.

I am very happy I ended up purchasing this A Definite Moust-Have.  It is yet another untried.  I think it looks so pretty with my skin.  I am still in shock that I even care what looks good with my skin.  Usually I just wear the colors that make me happy.  I guess if it makes you happy and looks good with your skin tone that makes it great all the way around right??

Matte Monday: Velvet Drapes...

Hello everyone!  Hope your day is bright and happy!  I have a new matte mani for you today.  I think it looks either like velvet drapes or a bed spread.  Since I have began this matte series I notice that I love the look of a dark base with a metallic stamp.  I hope you do not get tired of this combo because I have so many color combos I want to try!  Today you also get to see my right hand!  It only happens every once in a while.
