Hello everyone! Hopefully your weekend was filled with rest, accomplishment (people who need to catch up on house work or school work), weekend football games (Big Brother had his first football game this weekend) or whatever else I didn't mention. In keeping up with trying to get control over this mountain of untried that seems to keep increasing instead of decreasing this base polish is yet another untried! At least this one was super cheap on the markdown rack at Sally's and I think I can stamp with this. I need to try it out!
Mani Ingredients
Base color-Finger Paints Take It or Leaf It
Stamping polish-Petities Plum Frost
Image plate-Konad m85
Top coat-OPI Matte Top Coat
Let me say this OPI Matte Top Coat is by far my favorite matte top coat I have ever used. When I want to use a matte top coat I like it to look chalky. Like super matte. I don't know if you saw the Bright Love mani I did but the Salon Perfect Matte top coat looks more waxy to me. Which I like but wasn't what I wanted for that mani. You can see that mani here.
What finish do you like in a matte top coat?? Have you tried the OPI Matte Top Coat?? Thanks so much for stopping by!
That's a nice combo! I keep wanting to try matte finishes and then when I finish, I'm never sure it looks right... hmmm. I might try the OPI.
ReplyDeleteWe are so much a like ita crazy! I never feel I know what looks good matte. That is why I am challenging myself with this Matte Monday. OPI is my favorite that I have used so far.
DeleteWhat cute looks this model with the matte top coat :)
ReplyDeleteSuper eyecatching for such a simple but lovely design!
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful :) The polish you used for stamping looks gorgeous! I agree, matte top coats should be kind of chalky, and definitely NOT waxy!
ReplyDeleteI am glad I am not the only one who feels that way. Thanks so much for stopping by!
