Merge or melt...

Hello everyone!  Today's prompt is merge or melt.  I had a hard time thinking up how to actually do this...  I ultimately decided to do a mani that merges and melts.  I have been itching to wear some springy coral tones on my nails and decided no matter what today I was going to do so.  This mani turned out very girly to me but I love it!  I know you have noticed how much shorter I am keeping my nails.  I not only scratch Baby Brother all the time I also hit my nails all the time and flip them back.  I am so clumsy.  I love the way they look shorter and plan to keep them that way.  I never thought my nails were long but they were way too long for me.  So back to merging and melting.  Let's see what I came up with...

Mani Ingredients
Base color-OPI Melon of Troy
Glitter accents-Sinful Colors Queen of Beauty
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Image plate-m78
Top coat- Seche Vite

I love this mani and how it turned out!  As you can see I used a stamp that "merged" two animal prints and "melted" the glitter into the base color.  I may have reached a bit with the meaning of this prompt but I am happy with the way it turned out.  This is my first time doing the glitter gradient from the base of the nail.  I watched so many YouTube videos that said "it's easy".  Yeah it's never usually easy for me.  This was though.  I may have went a little glitter crazy at first (on the pinkie) but got it together by the thumb.  I plan on using this technique again.

What do you think??  Do you like the merging or melting best??  Thanks for stopping by!
