Neon mani...

Hello everyone!  I was torn at whether to use this mani as a studded mani or a neon mani.  By the title you can guess what I finally chose.  Let me say I am so obsessed with my new China Glaze polishes.  Too Yacht to Handle is so beautiful!  It dried a bit darker than I thought but I am so obsessed with it!  Absolutely beautiful polish!

Mani Ingredients
Base colors-China Glaze Too Yacht to Handle and Orly Black Pixel
Accent colors-China Glaze Purple Panic
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Image plate-bornprettystore.com dupe m78
Neon pink studs-eBay
Top coat-Seche Vite

I am so happy with this mani!  I knew I wanted to use zebra or cheetah print so I chose to use my image with both!  I also love the Black Pixel polish!  I went to Sally's to get only the black and rose pixel polish because I saw it was on sale.  When I got there Sally's was running a sale that made all their clearance polishes are buy one get one free.  So I picked up four because I was going to spend that price anyway.  So I got four for the price of two. So so pretty!!  I am so loving this textured polish!!

What do you think of the textured polish trend??  Do you think it will phase out??  Thanks for stopping by!

Bows and cheetah print...

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone is doing good!  I have been seeing a lot of mani's that have used cheetah and red together.  So that was my inspiration for this mani.  I also wanted to add red because I have not used a red in a while.  It stains my hands around my nails when I take it off and that bothers me so I usually use it on my toes more than my hands.  The "red"  I used is more maroon than red but is a very pretty color.

Mani Ingredients
Base colors- OPI Wocka Wocka! and Honey Ryder
Stamping polish-Kleancolor
Image plates-Konad M57 and Bunny Nails HD-A
Top coat-Seche Vite

Do you like stamping over textured polish??  Thanks for stopping by!

Studded mani...

Hello everyone!  I hope your having a great day.  Today's prompt on the Instagram challenge is a studded mani.  I have to confess I am such a picker.  If my polish chips in one spot I will pick it the rest of the way off.  If I have on studs or rhinestones I will pick those as well.  I didn't want to pick at this mani so I only used one stud on two nails.  Guess what??  I picked them anyway but not before I got a few pictures!

Mani Ingredients
Base color-China Glaze Highlight of My Summer
Glitter accents-Laquerlicious Zebra Kisses
Black and white studs eBay
This is my first time using Zebra Kisses.  I love it so much!  I love that the glitter looks all destroyed.  So pretty!!  In case you didn't already know I have a thing going on with black and white glitter and this is an amazing thing to me right now.
Do you like black and white glitter??  What is your favorite??  Thanks for stopping by!

Pink and purple skittlette mani...

Hey everyone!  I hope everyone is doing well!  I have a cute little skittlette mani for you today!  I did nails with my cousins recently and one of them found a cute mani online that she wanted on her nails.  I borrowed the concept and changed up the colors to create my own version.

Mani Ingredients
Base colors-OPI If you moust you moust, Wet n' Wild Who is ultra violet?, Sally Hansen Celeb city and China Glaze Nova
Stamping polishes-Pure Ice Silver Mercedes
Image plates-Pueen 29
Top coat-Seche Vite

I thought this was super cute!  I would have added in the picture that she used as her inspiration but I am unsure of what she googled.  I tried to search myself but found nothing.

Do you ever get your inspiration from the internet??  Or from what you see on other peoples nails??  Thanks for stopping by!

Ariel Inspired Mani...

Hello everyone!!  I hope everyone is doing great!  Today is my Ariel inspired mani.  I do most of my mani's in advance.  I just got some wonderful nail mail and I had to put the colors to use.  I ordered four of the China Glaze Sunsational polishes because I could not find the ones I wanted anywhere.  I stalked Sally's for ever and they still do not have them.  Oh well I have the ones I wanted now.  I still kind of want the pink one (You Drive Me Coconuts) but not a necessity.  I felt I needed That's Shore Bright, Highlight of My Summer, Sun of a Peach and Too Yatch to Handle.  I love every single color in person!!  I have been wanting to try the mermaid mani!  I also had to use one of my new polishes.  Here is what I came up with...

Mani Ingredients
Base color-China Glaze That's Shore Bright
Gradient color-Barielle Wanna Samba?
Flaky polish-Color Club Snow-Flakes
Stamping polish-Petites Sand Dune
Stamping plate-Mash 39
Top coat-Seche Vite

I am please with how this mani came out.  The only thing I would change is to use a green base color instead of the purple.  I just wanted to match the colorfulness in the picture below.  I was a bit unimpressed by the Color Club polish.  I wanted it to give off bigger flakes in order to give a scaly effect.  Well it failed.  Still pretty but no where near what I wanted.  Oh well.  This Barielle is my first ones.  I bought a pack at Marshall's and I love it!  I can't wait to use it as a base color.  All of the polishes that came in the pack are duochromed.  They are beautiful.

Have you tried a mermaid mani??  What colors look best with it to you??  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Christmas in July...

Hello everyone!!  I have a super fun mani for you today!  As the title says this is a Christmas in July mani!  As soon as I saw swatches of OPI liquid sand Solitaire I knew it would be a winter staple for me.  It looks like beautiful glistening snow.  I love the glitters that catch the sun.  I have so many ideas for Christmas!  I also have so many Christmas image plates that I got after the season was over so I am looking forward to putting them to use.  Actually every image plate I used in this mani was used for the first time.

Mani Ingredients
Base color-OPI Solitare
Stamping Polishes-Kleancolor Black, Metallic Sapphire and Green and Sally Hansen Rapid Red
Image plates-QA 19,Gals GA27, Bundle Monster BM H02 and Konad m12

This is the cutest little mani!  I thought the textured polish looked like snow in a way.  I just love it!  I may revisit this mani when it is Christmas time.  People gave me weird looks when I wore this.  LOL!  I tried to stamp the Christmas trees on my index finger in green first and it didn't show as dark as I wanted.  Instead of taking it off I thought it would be cute to try a double stamp and loved the way the black looked over it!  Probably will be one of the first Christmas mani's I will do.  I also love the way the blue polish I used for stamping looks.  There is this shimmer in the polish that you really can't see in the pictures.  I would also love to do a snowflake mani with this base and the blue polish I used for stamping.

Do you do Christmas manicures during Christmas time??  What is your favorite thing about Christmas time??  Thanks for stopping by!

Tribal nails...

Hello!  I am having a pretty good day today!  I hope you are doing the same!  Today I have my tribal nails for you!  I was so excited because I was determined to use my matte top coat.

Mani Ingredients
Base color-Orly Dayglow
Gradient colors-Acrylic paints Bella Hyacinth (purple) and Apple Barrel Key West (turquoise)
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Image plate-QA 15
Top coat-Kleancolor Madly Matte

I have been wanting to use my matte top coat more.  I truly neglect it most of the time.  These colors kind of made me think of Easter eggs.  The only thing I dislike about using a matte top coat is I am so impatient I always ding my nails because it takes longer than Seche Vite to dry.  Of course I painted my nails while cooking dinner.  Uggg...  I dinged my pinkie.  Just look at the other nails.  LOL!

So what do you think of matte top coats??  Do you use yours often??  Thanks for stopping by!

Belle Inspired Nails...

Hello guys!  Today I have my Belle inspired nails for you!  This is one movie I have seen many times!  I have to say this is my favorite animated movie ever!  The whole movie is awesome!  I love everything about it!

Stamping polish-Kleancolor Metallic Fuchsia
Dotting-China Glaze Magnetics Con-Fused?
Image plates-Cheeky CH 24 and GCOCL B02
Rhinestone-Ebay
Top coat-Seche Vite

I am okay with this mani I guess but I wished I could have thought of more I could add to it.  I was in a creative slump when I created this mani.  All I could think was pink and yellow.

Have you seen this movie??  What is your favorite animated movie??  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Teal and black...

Hey everyone!  I hope everyone is doing great!  I have a super cute mani for you today.  The hubby took us shopping a few weekends ago and of course my focus was polish!!  I had some coupons so I was pretty good!  I finally got my first Pixie Dust and in my opinion I got the best one!  I know I couldn't possibly say that when I have only tried one but it was the only one I wanted.  The black one!!  I have so many ideas running thru my head on what to do with this beautiful polish.  I did not have the problem of slow drying like everyone I saw reviews on.  Maybe because I have nubs??

Mani Ingredients
Base colors-Essie In the Cab-ana and Zoya Pixie Dust Dahlia
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Image plate-Konad m65
Top coat-Seche Vite
Studs-Ebay

I am in love with this mani.  I have a weakness for this color of polish (Essie teal blue).  I did not think it was going to dry as dark as it is but it is so pretty!  I think it is beautiful with black polish!!  This color in dark and light makes up the majority of my polish collection.

What is your favorite nail polish color??  Is your favorite color to put on your nails also your favorite color??  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Animal...

Hello everyone!!  I had such a hard time thinking up an idea for this one.  I decided to do a simple cheetah print as I have not done one in quite a while.  I saw someone did an animal print with some beautiful neon spots.  I decided to try something similar.  I am sorry but I do not have the link to where I am borrowing the idea from.

Mani Ingredients
Base color-Essence Grey-t to be here
Accents-Finger Paint Colorful Collage and China Glaze Pink Voltage
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Image plate-Konad m57
Top coat-Seche Vite

I think it turned out great!  I decided the only thing I dislike about doing challenges is I have to take the nail art so quickly.  Especially if I love the design.  I did love this design but the base color I used the Essence polish chipped so fast!  Uggg... it has this subtle pink shimmer in it that I love but the wear is horrible.

Do you wear polish even though it chips quickly??  Have you tried Essence polishes??  Thanks for stopping by!
