Hello everyone! I was torn at whether to use this mani as a studded mani or a neon mani. By the title you can guess what I finally chose. Let me say I am so obsessed with my new China Glaze polishes. Too Yacht to Handle is so beautiful! It dried a bit darker than I thought but I am so obsessed with it! Absolutely beautiful polish!
Mani Ingredients
Base colors-China Glaze Too Yacht to Handle and Orly Black Pixel
Accent colors-China Glaze Purple Panic
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Image plate-bornprettystore.com dupe m78
Neon pink studs-eBay
Top coat-Seche Vite
I am so happy with this mani! I knew I wanted to use zebra or cheetah print so I chose to use my image with both! I also love the Black Pixel polish! I went to Sally's to get only the black and rose pixel polish because I saw it was on sale. When I got there Sally's was running a sale that made all their clearance polishes are buy one get one free. So I picked up four because I was going to spend that price anyway. So I got four for the price of two. So so pretty!! I am so loving this textured polish!!
What do you think of the textured polish trend?? Do you think it will phase out?? Thanks for stopping by!

Bows and cheetah print...
Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing good! I have been seeing a lot of mani's that have used cheetah and red together. So that was my inspiration for this mani. I also wanted to add red because I have not used a red in a while. It stains my hands around my nails when I take it off and that bothers me so I usually use it on my toes more than my hands. The "red" I used is more maroon than red but is a very pretty color.

Studded mani...
Hello everyone! I hope your having a great day. Today's prompt on the Instagram challenge is a studded mani. I have to confess I am such a picker. If my polish chips in one spot I will pick it the rest of the way off. If I have on studs or rhinestones I will pick those as well. I didn't want to pick at this mani so I only used one stud on two nails. Guess what?? I picked them anyway but not before I got a few pictures!

Pink and purple skittlette mani...
Hey everyone! I hope everyone is doing well! I have a cute little skittlette mani for you today! I did nails with my cousins recently and one of them found a cute mani online that she wanted on her nails. I borrowed the concept and changed up the colors to create my own version.
Mani Ingredients
Base colors-OPI If you moust you moust, Wet n' Wild Who is ultra violet?, Sally Hansen Celeb city and China Glaze Nova
Stamping polishes-Pure Ice Silver Mercedes
Image plates-Pueen 29
Top coat-Seche Vite
I thought this was super cute! I would have added in the picture that she used as her inspiration but I am unsure of what she googled. I tried to search myself but found nothing.
Do you ever get your inspiration from the internet?? Or from what you see on other peoples nails?? Thanks for stopping by!

Ariel Inspired Mani...
Hello everyone!! I hope everyone is doing great! Today is my Ariel inspired mani. I do most of my mani's in advance. I just got some wonderful nail mail and I had to put the colors to use. I ordered four of the China Glaze Sunsational polishes because I could not find the ones I wanted anywhere. I stalked Sally's for ever and they still do not have them. Oh well I have the ones I wanted now. I still kind of want the pink one (You Drive Me Coconuts) but not a necessity. I felt I needed That's Shore Bright, Highlight of My Summer, Sun of a Peach and Too Yatch to Handle. I love every single color in person!! I have been wanting to try the mermaid mani! I also had to use one of my new polishes. Here is what I came up with...
Mani Ingredients
Base color-China Glaze That's Shore Bright
Gradient color-Barielle Wanna Samba?
Flaky polish-Color Club Snow-Flakes
Stamping polish-Petites Sand Dune
Stamping plate-Mash 39
Top coat-Seche Vite
I am please with how this mani came out. The only thing I would change is to use a green base color instead of the purple. I just wanted to match the colorfulness in the picture below. I was a bit unimpressed by the Color Club polish. I wanted it to give off bigger flakes in order to give a scaly effect. Well it failed. Still pretty but no where near what I wanted. Oh well. This Barielle is my first ones. I bought a pack at Marshall's and I love it! I can't wait to use it as a base color. All of the polishes that came in the pack are duochromed. They are beautiful.
Have you tried a mermaid mani?? What colors look best with it to you?? Thanks so much for stopping by!

Christmas in July...
Hello everyone!! I have a super fun mani for you today! As the title says this is a Christmas in July mani! As soon as I saw swatches of OPI liquid sand Solitaire I knew it would be a winter staple for me. It looks like beautiful glistening snow. I love the glitters that catch the sun. I have so many ideas for Christmas! I also have so many Christmas image plates that I got after the season was over so I am looking forward to putting them to use. Actually every image plate I used in this mani was used for the first time.
Mani Ingredients
Base color-OPI Solitare

Base color-OPI Solitare
Stamping Polishes-Kleancolor Black, Metallic Sapphire and Green and Sally Hansen Rapid Red
Image plates-QA 19,Gals GA27, Bundle Monster BM H02 and Konad m12
This is the cutest little mani! I thought the textured polish looked like snow in a way. I just love it! I may revisit this mani when it is Christmas time. People gave me weird looks when I wore this. LOL! I tried to stamp the Christmas trees on my index finger in green first and it didn't show as dark as I wanted. Instead of taking it off I thought it would be cute to try a double stamp and loved the way the black looked over it! Probably will be one of the first Christmas mani's I will do. I also love the way the blue polish I used for stamping looks. There is this shimmer in the polish that you really can't see in the pictures. I would also love to do a snowflake mani with this base and the blue polish I used for stamping.
Do you do Christmas manicures during Christmas time?? What is your favorite thing about Christmas time?? Thanks for stopping by!

Tribal nails...
Hello! I am having a pretty good day today! I hope you are doing the same! Today I have my tribal nails for you! I was so excited because I was determined to use my matte top coat.
Mani Ingredients
Base color-Orly Dayglow
Gradient colors-Acrylic paints Bella Hyacinth (purple) and Apple Barrel Key West (turquoise)
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Image plate-QA 15
Top coat-Kleancolor Madly Matte
I have been wanting to use my matte top coat more. I truly neglect it most of the time. These colors kind of made me think of Easter eggs. The only thing I dislike about using a matte top coat is I am so impatient I always ding my nails because it takes longer than Seche Vite to dry. Of course I painted my nails while cooking dinner. Uggg... I dinged my pinkie. Just look at the other nails. LOL!
So what do you think of matte top coats?? Do you use yours often?? Thanks for stopping by!

Teal and black...
Hey everyone! I hope everyone is doing great! I have a super cute mani for you today. The hubby took us shopping a few weekends ago and of course my focus was polish!! I had some coupons so I was pretty good! I finally got my first Pixie Dust and in my opinion I got the best one! I know I couldn't possibly say that when I have only tried one but it was the only one I wanted. The black one!! I have so many ideas running thru my head on what to do with this beautiful polish. I did not have the problem of slow drying like everyone I saw reviews on. Maybe because I have nubs??

Base colors-Essie In the Cab-ana and Zoya Pixie Dust Dahlia
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black

I am in love with this mani. I have a weakness for this color of polish (Essie teal blue). I did not think it was going to dry as dark as it is but it is so pretty! I think it is beautiful with black polish!! This color in dark and light makes up the majority of my polish collection.
What is your favorite nail polish color?? Is your favorite color to put on your nails also your favorite color?? Thanks so much for stopping by!

Animal...
Hello everyone!! I had such a hard time thinking up an idea for this one. I decided to do a simple cheetah print as I have not done one in quite a while. I saw someone did an animal print with some beautiful neon spots. I decided to try something similar. I am sorry but I do not have the link to where I am borrowing the idea from.
Mani Ingredients
Base color-Essence Grey-t to be here
Accents-Finger Paint Colorful Collage and China Glaze Pink Voltage
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Image plate-Konad m57
Top coat-Seche Vite
I think it turned out great! I decided the only thing I dislike about doing challenges is I have to take the nail art so quickly. Especially if I love the design. I did love this design but the base color I used the Essence polish chipped so fast! Uggg... it has this subtle pink shimmer in it that I love but the wear is horrible.
Do you wear polish even though it chips quickly?? Have you tried Essence polishes?? Thanks for stopping by!

Pocahontas Inspired Mani...
Hey everyone!! Today I am doing the Pocahontas inspired mani. Once again I have not seen the movie. I have seen bits and pieces but not the whole thing. I struggled to get my stamps to work for this one. I had to do it three times to get something I actually liked looking at. That is the reason I cheated a bit by doing most of my nails with the textured polish. I am so in love with this textured polish! It is my favorite that I have. So beautiful. I am a bit thrown off by the name due to the original Tiffany color needing a bit more green to it. I do not care I am obsessed.
Mani Ingredients
Base colors-OPI Tiffany Case and Spa Ritual Driftwood Crème
Accent color-L.A. Colors Metallic Teal
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Image plates-Bundle Monster BM 204 & 213
Top coat-Seche Vite
I love the way this mani turned out. I am so super obsessed with Tiffany Case! It is so pretty!! It is my favorite liquid sand polish I own. I almost didn't get it but I am glad I did.

Floral...
Hello everyone!! I hope your day is going well. Today is my floral prompt. I really love all of these prompts and I have so many ideas of what I can do. I wish I had time to do at least two for each one. I am in love with the teal and the pink!! Two of my favorite colors all in one OMG!! Let's see what I came up with...
Mani Ingredients
Mani Ingredients
OPI Pussy Galore and Sephoria Natural Environ-ment
Pink accents-L'Oreal Penthouse Pink
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Image plates-Essence and Cheeky CH12
Top coat-Seche Vite
I love this!! This is one of those manis that I did not want to take off. This was so pretty!! I am going to do this color combo again! I am still kind of thrown off by the name of the name of the OPI liquid sand. It is so vulgar to me. Just kind of grosses me out a bit but the color is beautiful. If you look close you can see some hot pink glitter in the pink polish. So pretty!!
What are some colors that you love to see together?? Have you tried the liquid sand polishes?? Thanks for stopping by!

Ombre...
Hello everyone!! I hope everyone had a great Sunday! I did! The family and I actually got up and went to Sunday school this morning. I did not get up to prep lunch though so we ended up going to eat at Golden Corral. For those of you that do not have one where you live it is a huge buffet with any type of food you can dream of. On the way in my brother and sister in law and their nieces were driving up so we all had lunch together. It was a great day! So today for the challenge is a ombre mani. I chose to do brown because I haven't seen one in brown before. So let's see what I came up with.
Mani Ingredients
Ombre Colors-China Glaze Call of the Wild & Mahogany Magic, OPI A-Taupe the Space Needle & My Vampire is Buff and Essie Case Study
Glitter top coat-Cosmetic Arts unnamed holographic glitter
Top coat-Seche Vite
I thought oh I will use browns because I have never seen a brown obmre...then I realized I had nothing to go in the middle of the lightest and darkest that worked in my head. So I remember that I saw a YouTube video that showed how to use any colors and make it look like an ombre by adding some glitter on top. You can view it here. I was pleased at how great it worked! I wanted to do some nail art on top but I couldn't stop looking at that beautiful glitter so I decided not to.
Have you ever seen a brown ombre?? Do you think a gradient and an ombre are two different things?? I think they are. Thanks for stopping by!

Sleeping Beauty Inspired Mani...
Hello everyone!! Hope everyone is doing great!! I am back today with my Sleeping Beauty Inspired mani. I struggled with this one because once again I know nothing of the movie except she slept. I have no stamps that I could incorporate with this so I decided to just do dainty and sweet. Let's see what I came up with...
Mani Ingredients
Base color-Orly Plum
Gradient color-Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Back to the Fuchsia
Glitter-China Glaze Golden Enchantment
Stamping polish- Claire's white stamping polish
Image plate-Shany SH207
Top coat-Seche Vite
So what do you think?? I guess I should have thought more before I decided to take on this challenge because I have not seen many of these movies. I love trying to create a mani inspired by a person though. What I do not understand is why her signature dress changes so much. One time it's pink and another time it is blue??
Have you seen this movie?? How does Sleeping Beauty actually end up sleeping?? Thanks for stopping by!

Fourth of July...
Hey everyone! So sorry I didn't get a fourth of July mani up before the actual day. I did have the spots one but it was not really using traditional colors. This is the second prompt for the challenge I am doing on Instagram (my user name jmmama1). I am loving the prompts and have so many great ideas! So excited about this challenge! So here is what I came up with...
Mani Ingredients
Base colors-OPI The Impossible and Orly Dayglow
Stamping polish-Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Co-Bolt Blue & Rapid Red
Image plate-Bunny Nails HD-A
Top coat-Seche Vite
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. This is going to be a short post so that I can relax a bit today!

Purple and more purple...
Hey everyone! I hope you are having a great day! I was having a green mani moment now I guess I am on to purple. I am also loving anything textured right now. I thought when I first saw textured polish that it was a mess and I would not touch it. Now I have so many I can barely count them. I love them so much!! They are super durable and last forever.
Mani Ingredients
Base colors- Essie Boxer Shorts and OPI Can't Let Go
Stamping polish-Claire's white stamping polish
Image plate-Essence
Top coat- Seche Vite
I need to really get out of the same color combos. I have craving some nude polishes. That is my next fixation I guess. This one is so simple I think it is time to do some nudes until my creativity comes back. I have been practicing trying to do some super cute double stamping. I just dislike it when one color doesn't fully cover the other stamping color. I had that problem with this mani. I am finding some color combos that will work.
Do you think basic mani's are worth posting on a blog?? Do you have any tips for double stamping?? Thank you for stopping by!

Spots...
Hello everyone!! I hope everyone is doing great!! I have been slacking on preparing manis for posting. I have been simply enjoying the colors on my nails and not doing any nail art. Just polish and glitter. By the time I have remembered to take a picture I have tip wear. I only post with tip wear if it is a great mani that I just love not just solid colored polish.
I have an instagram and my name is jmmama1. Please follow me if you are interested. I warn you it is not just nails. I do take many pictures of my kids, hubby and other random things. I am participating in a nail art challenge for the month of June so I will post those manis here. The first one is spots. I am trying to get better at my dotting so I chose to do something related to the Fourth of July since I have not posted one single mani for this holiday. I am secretly waiting on my new Bundle Monster plates to try them. I did purchase a Bunny Nails plate that has some pretty awesome images for the Fourth so we will just have to see what I come up with.

Base color-Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Midnight Sky
Dots- Acrylic Paints Wicker White, True Blue and Metallic Bright Red

I hope that I can keep up with this challenge. I feel like I have been slacking. I am excited for the prompts though. I will list them below just in case you would like to participate. To include your pictures you would post them to @thenailtrail and #thenailtrailjuly.
