Fix my fail contest entry...

Hey everyone!!  This has been a super long week!!  I work in the school system and this is the last week of school so I have been extra tired and stressed!  I am so excited for the weekend!!  Although it will be extra busy as well!  At least I can look forward to summer break.  I was so excited that one of my favorite blogger made her contest available to those of us like me with no face book.  You can check out the lovely Lacquer or Leave Her blog here.  She does amazing nail art!!

Michelle (Lacquer or Leave Her blogger) has a contest that she names Fix my fail.  She gives you one or two manis and you can recreate them.  Of course you have to keep some of the same elements.  I have never really spotted anything terribly horrible out of the whole two times she has ran this contest that I know of.  Here is my try at fixing her fail...

Mani Ingredients

I thought that maybe the base was a bit too busy for the type of stamp she used so I used a more solid colored base.  I really love the stamp she used but I did not have it so I chose the next best thing.  I hope you enjoy this mani!

Since no one let me know they would be participating in the Disney Challenge with me I guess I am all on my own.  Lol!  Its fine.  There are so many other challenges going on at this moment. At least I do not have to create another inlinkz.  That was a but confusing for me the first time around as I had never did it before.  Also this week kicked my behind so I will not be posting my first Disney mani tomorrow I will start next Friday June 7th.  I still need time to get me a mani together.

Blue gradent mani...

So what do you think??  I wanted to do a gradient so bad however didn't really have the time to do a full out gradient combining two cream colors.  So I found a way to do a super fast gradient.  I painted my base color as a cream.  By the way this Borrowed & Blue dries so fast!  I used a sheer shimmer polish and used a sponge to do a gradient and it was awesome!  I just sponged with more pressure at the tip of my nail and less pressure in the middle and it was perfect.  So you know you are about to see several gradients following this process so I can see if it actually works.  I have quite a few Pure Ice polishes that are rather thin and shimmery so I am going to try them out.

Textured leopard...

I wore this plain for four whole days before adding the stamping.  No chipping or tip wear.  I am so in love!  I want a few more colors of the OPI liquid sands.  Everywhere I have been going has them sold out of the colors I want to purchase.  Uggg... hopefully I will get some soon.

I think it turned out cute!  I had some issues with the stamp coming off completely so I had to touch up some dots but was happy with how the mani turned out.

Girls just want to have fun...

Hey everyone!!  Today marks the last prompt for the Girly Girl Challenge.  I am so excited to have finished a challenge!!  Woot woot!!  I enjoyed it!  I hope to do another soon.  I found so many that I like on the internet.  I was going to go all out on this mani but decided I just love to paint my nails.  That is one of the things I love to do for fun.  So I chose to just do a mani.  I didn't put bells and whistles into this mani I just chose some colors and a stamping plate and did my nails.  I think it turned out pretty cute myself.

I love this base color.  Shoot I just love OPI!!  Every time I use an OPI polish I remember how much I love their polishes!!  I think its the brush that gets me.  I love the width of it.  I have trouble with Insta-Dri brushes due to them being so large.  I still love them but they all ways flood my cuticles because my nail beds are so small.

Hey everyone!!  I have my favorite nail art technique for you today!  Of course it is stamping!!  Woot woot!!  This is one of the only things I can't mess up!  I am such a klutz and free hand is not my strong point.  I do want to try the free hand roses...yeah mine would look a mess though.

I am totally in love with Dance Baby!!  I absolutely love it! It is my new favorite pink!  It is so bright and beautiful.  I do have problems with it chipping quickly though.  Oh well I am still going to wear it!  I may put it on my toes next to see how that looks.

Hey everyone!  Today I have a mani inspired by a blogger.  I decided I have been neglecting my gray nail polishes and decided to pull out one I have never tried.  So in case you missed my many posts of me telling you how much I love Valentines Day manis...I will fill you in again.  I love hearts!!  I do not only use them during Valentines Day.  I use them when I feel like seeing some pretty hearts on my hands.  I found out about Bunny Nail's image plates through Canadian Nail Fanatic.  She did a beautiful design with the plate that I immediately purchased.  The color scheme I used is somewhat the same.  Check out her design here.  When I saw her mani I thought this is a mani I love and must do!  Let's see what I came up with...

I love how this came out.  Everyone that commented on my nails when I wore this mani thought I had on nail stickers.  LOL!  I love it when my manis look that "professional".  I actually have never tried nail stickers yet.  I can't create a reason enough for me to purchase some of them.  I have so many stamps and polishes I could create just about anything I want in any color I want.  I keep hoping I win some in a giveaway or find some super cheap.  That will be the only way I try them because I can't justify enough reason to purchase them.

I think this mani is so sexy and I loved wearing this!!  So so pretty!  I love this China Glaze color!!  It is one of the best holiday colors I have ever purchased.  Well this far...  I hope this isn't too dark and vampy for some of you but you will learn one thing about me I do not care the season I will wear whatever I feel like on my nails.  I have no problem rocking neon pink or yellow while there is snow on the ground.  I just love that I can wear and create any kind of mood that I want on my nails whenever I feel like it.  There is nothing anyone can do to take the simple joy out of nail polish for me.

What do you think of this??  I love this new set of stamping plates!  I love designs like these because they are so easy to work with especially if a full design does not cover your whole nail.  Although I have short nails and small nail beds I still have problems with full image designs on my thumbs at times.  These new Pueen plates gave me no problems covering my whole thumb.

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone is doing great!  Last night my auntie had a barbecue for my uncle and we had such a good time!  Baby brother was dancing around and playing all night.  It is fun to spend time with the family.  The food was amazing as well!  I have a mani inspired by me today.  Since I love pink I had to incorporate it into my mani.
