Hey everyone!! I have my technique new to me mani for you today! I have fell in love with this technique and am already planning to use it in the future to add some extra depth to my manis! I used acrylic paints for the fan brush designs! It made clean up easier. Just a wash of my hands! I need to work on making my bristles on the brush a bit more "fanned" out. They clumped up a bit. For my first time I think I did great!
Mani Ingredients
Base color-Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Wet Cement
Fan brush colors-Acrylic paint Bright Pink and Blueberry
Top coat-NYC Quick Dry Grand Central Station
I so wanted to add glitter or some type of cute stamp on the accent nail. I was just so blown away at how easy it was to do this and how beautiful it turned out I couldn't bring my self to do anything to it. I want to do another with these exact same colors but add in a China Glaze For Audrey type of color! You may say that in the future. I am so terrible at free hand anything so the fact that this turned out so great just made me so happy! Lame huh?? Oh well! My stick figures look a mess...enough said about my terrible drawing abilities. LOL!
Have you tried the fan brush technique?? Any tips that you can give me to keep me from clumping up the brush?? Thanks for stopping by!

Easter egg nails...
Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a great Easter weekend! I have a quick post for you today. The reason it is so quick is I messed the mani up before I even got to clean up my edges! Sad sad...
Mani Ingredients
Base color-OPI My Vampire is Buff
Stamping polishes Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Brisk Blue, Lively Lilac and Presto Pink
Image plate-QA 15
Top coat-NYC Grand Central Station and then Kleancolor Madly Matte
The cleanup did not even happen. I thought they looked just like Easter eggs. Funny story and then I have to go help Big Brother dye some eggs. I had Big Brother helping me put eggs in the pot to boil. There were some brown eggs and some white eggs. Big Brother asked me if the eggs were brown because they were rotten. I thought it was too cute! Have a great night!

Color Opposite Mani...
Hey everyone! I have my color opposite mani for you today! I had two ideas for this mani and did not want to use either one. It was blue and orange or purple and yellow. I did not want to do the same old same old color opposite mani. I wanted to try something different. I googled and found the color chart below. I plan to refer to this to create more mani's! I love so many of the color combos that can be created!
I decided on the olive and maroon. I have been itching to wear some olive polish and this seemed like the perfect time to use it. I also used something new for me. I have had these gold studs forever and decided to used them today. I think this mani turned out great! What do you think??
Mani Ingredients
Base color-OPI Uh-oh Roll Down the Window
Chevron color- Julep Demi
Gold studs-bornprettystore.com
Stamping polish-Petites Sand Dune
Image plate-QA 16
Top coat-Seche Vite
I would have never did this color combo without this challenge! I am definitely enjoying this challenge! Now that the dreaded water color prompt is over. I am still cringing over that. I think I redeemed myself with this mani!

Watercolor mani...
Hey everyone! So..yeah the watercolor prompt day... I am sorry if you like it but I am totally not a fan of the watercolor. I never know what to do with it and I am never satisfied with my results. It does not make sense to me because there is no set way to do it (my ocd). I am so sure it is user error. I think I picked a good color scheme but something went wrong...yeah you be the judge...
Mani Ingredients
Base color-OPI My Vampire is Buff
Water color colors- Acrylic paint Key West and Copper
Top coat-NYC Grand Central Station
I can say I love these colors together! This may have looked better sponged on and then some full image stamp over it. Well I am going to take this off immediately. I am going to revisit this and possibly add more water to the paint. That may help some.
Quick update for the Girly Girl Challenge beginning Friday...Everyone and anyone can join! I will have the link on here so that you may add your mani! I will post my post as early as possible on Friday. I am located in Oklahoma so that you know what time zone I am in. No need to ask for permission just join us!! We would love to see your manis!! Also I want to give a huge shout out to Miss Closet Diva! This amazing girl has done most of the leg work and got so many of you involved and I truly thank her! Please visit her page here because her nail art is awesome! She also is involved in another nail art challenge right now!
Do you like water color manis?? Do you have any tips to help me out with my technique?? Thanks so much for stopping by!

Simple Stamping...
Hey everyone! Today's prompt is stamping. I stamp on almost every mani I do so this was nothing for me! I did use a plate and two polishes as my base colors that I have never used before. Yes it is sad to say I had this beautiful holo and never used it! I really like this mani! I was wanting to play with some browns and nudes but needed a pop of color. Let's see what I came up with...
Mani Ingredients
Base colors- OPI A Taupe the Space Needle and Color Club Love 'Em/Leave 'Em
Stamping polish- Revlon Top Speed Chrome Punch Chrome
Image plate-QA 23
I love the color of the Revlon I used for stamping but I can only use it when it does not matter if some pieces of the design are missing. This polish dries so fast you can barely stamp it quick. If you need exact placement of the stamp and can't have it randomly placed do not use this polish. I only get bits and pieces no matter what I do because it dries so fast. Even with my XL sticky stamper I can't do it fast enough.

Eternal Beauty and Jungle Queen...
Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a great day! I must say that I was a bit surprised at how much I loved this mani! I loved that Jungle Queen! I hardly ever purchase polish that is not on clearance or some sort of sale. I did purchase Jungle Queen on clearance and I almost did not. I am so glad I did because it is so pretty! Then mixing it with a holo...OMG!! I will let the pictures speak further for themselves...
Stamping color-Color Club Eternal Beauty

OMG!! I fell in love again with holographic nail polish! I loved stamping with it the most!! I plan to do a tiger stripe mani and stamp with some holographic polish!! I am so late with the holo but am in love with it now!! So pretty!
Do you like holographic nail polishes?? What is your favorite whether you own it or not?? Thanks for stopping by!

Cheer yourself up mani...
Hey everyone! Today's prompt in the challenge is cheer yourself up mani. What other way to cheer yourself up than to look at smiley faces all over your bright yellow nails??
Mani Ingredients
Base color-Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow
Stamping polish- Kleancolor Black
Image plates-Shany SH217 and fauxnad m51
Top coat- Seche Vite
I thought this turned out really cute. I probably would not have wore this mani without the help of the challenge. Well maybe not in this color combo. This mani made me think of those smiley face stickers they used to give the kids at Walmart when you come through the door. Now they give cookie stickers and you can take the kids to the deli to get a free cookie.
What do you think of this mani?? What cheers you up??

Four Leaf Clover Show Me the Money...
Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a great week! My week was wonderful and uneventful. I was off of work this week for spring break and I got to stay home with Baby Brother all week! Next week both boys will be home with me. I will try and post some pictures of my boys from next week because we will be getting out of the house to do some things. Hubby has to work so it will be the little boys and I.
I wanted to post a quick mani for St. Patrick's Day. Although I do not celebrate every holiday I plan to always try at least one mani from each holiday and get it posted here. I have so many plates with different holiday images I want to use them! So this is what I came up with...
Mani Ingredients
Base color-China Glaze Four Leaf Clover
Glitter-Spoiled Show Me the Money
Stamping polish-China Glaze Passion
Image plate-Winstonia W105
Top coat-Seche Vite
Four leaf clover is my all time favorite green polish! It is borderline neon to me. It is one of the first polishes I have ever purchased and I will definitely repurchase this when I use it up. It is really beautiful on my toes. I love to wear it in the summer (which is about the only time anyone sees my toes).
What mani are you wearing for St. Patrick's Day?? Do you have a favorite green?? Thanks for stopping by!

Holo goodness...
Hello everyone!! This is just a quick mani I threw together. I just love Color Club Harp on It. This color is simply beautiful! Right now I think this has been my most worn polish over the last few months. I have yet to stamp with it but I have seen on many blogs that it works for stamping. I just love the amazing holo in it!
The weather here has been beautiful! It has not been too cold. We have had a bright shining sun. Very refreshing! I was even thinking about having Hubby throw some chicken on the grill! Grilling out is my favorite thing to do all throughout the year. It is especially my favorite thing to do when it is warm outside though. I like to watch my boys play football or catch.

I wanted to do a simple stamp because I love to look at this polish!! I have had to order another one of these beautiful polishes! I can't get over how breath taking it is. Polish lovers will totally understand that. I can't stop looking at my nails.
Do you have any polishes that take your breath away?? What do you like to do when it is warm outside??

Tape mani...
Hello everyone! So...this is my attempt at a tape mani. Cute polish has this beautiful tape mani she does and made it look so simple. Yeah not so simple. Her mani turned out great! Mine not so great! I ended up not even finishing the whole hand as I had planned to. So many things went wrong. First thing is I am so impatient. Second I could not figure out how to make my strips as small as hers. Then I got the bright idea to kind of "layer" the strips. Total Fail!! I decided to just top coat it, take some pictures and get this mess off my hands. I was sad to take it off because I love the color I used as a base color. Let me let you look at this mess...
Mani Ingredients
Base color-NYC Quick Dry Sidewalkers
Pink-Orly Hawaiian Punch
Black-Revlon Black Lingerie
Top coat-Seche Vite
Scotch tape
I am so upset at how this ended up. I am now so determined to work on it. I am going to master this technique. Have you ever tried this technique?? Do you struggle like me with tape manis? Thanks for stopping by.

Geometric Nails...
Hey all! I have my geometric nails for you today! Before I begin I want to talk about this beautiful polish! I saw a soguesswhat11 YouTube video and she bought this beautiful green polish from bornprettystore.com. So I immediately ordered several colors of course. This is one of them. They are super cheap and the polish takes over 5 days to chip! The polish is opaque in two coats. You can purchase it here. The only downfall is it takes about two weeks to get your order but shipping is free! I purchase so many items from bornprettystore.com! Very good quality items. Nothing I have ever purchased has disappointed me.
Mani Ingredients
Base color-bornprettystore.com green glitter crystal sand 01
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Stamping plate-Pueen 16
Top coat-NYC Quick Dry Grand Central Station
I loved wearing this mani!! That base polish just glittered so beautifully. Not sure if "glittered" is a word but I am going to just go with it. I loved it so much I went ahead and purchased another polish the day I wore this mani. I have 4 that I love so why not add one more right? Do you have any polishes that you look at and fall deeper in love each time you look at it? Thanks for stopping by!

Saran wrap nails...
Hello everyone! Hope you are doing well! I had such a busy week it made me happy about the weekend! Too bad I must go back to work tomorrow! I love my job but I also love to stay home with my boys! Just a quick post for my saran wrap mani. I left this on for days because I loved it so much!! What do think??
Mani Ingredients
Base color-Sinful Colors Gorgeous
Blotting color-Sinful Colors Let's Talk
Top coat-Seche Vite
I am starting to like the simplicity of a mani like this. I love to stamp and feel that I must always stamp but I felt this one was great on its own! Do you always do nail art? Is it a "must"? Or do you just enjoy the polish itself?? Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Wallpaper nails...
Hello everyone! I have a cute little wallpaper nail mani for you today! I saw a youTube video and got inspired to create this. I wish I would have used exact colors from the video (Tiffany blue base, pink lines). This turned out amazing still! I had a bit of trouble getting my line stamp together. I love this purple base color. I think this you're such a budapest is somewhat a dupe for Sinful Colors Candy Coated. Both have that slight shimmer and is a beautiful pale bluish lavender color. You be the judge if it looks like wallpaper...
Mani Ingredients
Base color-OPI You're such a budapest
Stamping colors-Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Brisk blue and Mash black
Top coat-Seche Vite
Image plates- Fauxnad plate M09 and Gals GA4
Glequins bornprettystore.com
I really like how this turned out, however I wish I would have used better flowers. I wasn't happy with how small they were. I really wanted to use roses but also wanted to use glequins. Obviously the glequins won. Lol! I have a love for glitter so glequins satisfied my need in this mani! So cute! Some people do not like to use glitter polishes because they hate to take it off. I use pure 100% acetone so I have no problem with using lots and lots of glitter. I know people say it is bad but it works for me and does not bother me or my nails. What type of remover do you use?? Do you dislike using acetone?? Thanks for stopping by!
